Veranda Learning is facing rough times as per its financial results. The edtech company's latest numbers are in, and they're not pretty - losses have shot up a staggering twelve times while revenue barely budged. Sure, they managed to squeeze out 8% more revenue this quarter, hitting Rs 99 crore.

However, the shocking thing is that the company is burning through cash like there's no tomorrow. Veranda Learning spent Rs 304 crore in just three months - triple what they spent last year.

Want to know where all that money went? Depreciation costs are the big culprit, swallowing a whopping Rs 140 crore - seven times more than last year. Throw in fat checks for staff, marketing, and IT, and you've got a company spending Rs 3.08 to make a single rupee. Let that sink in.

In this fiscal year, they've pulled in Rs 357 crore but lost Rs 258 crore. However, surprisingly, the investors don't seem too spooked yet. The stock ticked up today, closing at Rs 226.9. But with money flowing out faster than water through a sieve, you've got to wonder how long their patience will last.
