Swish Bags $14M Series A to Fuel 10-Minute Food Delivery Growth
Bengaluru's Swish has secured $14 million (Rs 122 crore) in Series A funding, with UK-based Hara Global leading the round. According to company filings, Hara Global's stake is now 13.33%, while existing investor Accel maintains a hefty 27.24% ownership.
The quick-commerce startup's founders—Sureshkumar Sarana, Aniket Sunil Shah, and Ujjwal Sukheja—will each hold 16.28% of the company following the deal.
Several notable angel investors participated in the round, including Unacademy's Gaurav Munjal, CRED founder Kunal Shah's QED Innovation, and Softbank veteran Sumer Juneja. Industry insiders see Juneja's backing as particularly significant, given his early investment in Swiggy while at Norwest Venture Partners in 2015.
The startup had previously raised $2 million in seed funding from Accel last November.
This much-needed and critical cash infusion comes as competition heats up in India's rapid food delivery space. Swish's main competitor, Swiggy—where Softbank remains a key investor—has already carved out a substantial presence with its Bolt and Snacc offerings.
The funding marks a major step for Swish as it looks to challenge established players in the increasingly crowded 10-minute delivery battlefield. Companieses are racing to perfect logistics for near-instant food fulfillment across India's major metros.
The fundraising suggests investors remain bullish on quick commerce despite broader headwinds in the startup funding environment, particularly for ventures cracking the last-mile delivery code.
