Nykaa Projects Strong Q4 FY25 Revenue Growth, Forecasts Mid-Twenties Annual Increas
Beauty retailer Nykaa told stock exchanges Sunday that it expects fourth-quarter revenue to grow in the low to mid-twenties percentage range compared to last year. The company projects similar mid-twenties growth for the 2025 fiscal year, showing steady performance across all quarters. This follows Nykaa's strong Q3 showing when revenue jumped 27%.
Nykaa's beauty business continues to outrun industry trends, with expected GMV growth at a low thirties percent. The company credits this to heavy customer acquisition spending, which has boosted order volumes.
Strong retail store performance also fueled growth, with existing locations seeing higher sales while the company rapidly expanded its footprint, adding 19 new stores in the fourth quarter alone. The company said both home-grown and acquired brands under the Nykaa umbrella performed well.
In fashion, Nykaa expects GMV growth in the high teens, with improving results from its core platform. However, overall fashion revenue will grow more slowly due to weak sales from Nykaa's own clothing brands and fewer content promotions, which typically peak in the third quarter.
The beauty giant reported a Rs 26 crore profit in Q3, up 60% from the previous year. Nykaa's growth strategy balances online sales with physical retail expansion in India's competitive beauty market.
