Industrial technology startup Leanworx has raised Rs. 8.3 crore in new funding through the YourNest-SanchiConnect Velocity Program 2024. The program, designed to accelerate promising startups, provides Leanworx with capital, strategic support, and market access opportunities.

Founded in 2017, Leanworx has developed an innovative AI-powered monitoring system that transforms manufacturing efficiency by providing decision-makers with real-time data analytics from shop floor machines. The fresh capital will fuel Leanworx's expansion plans in India and Southeast Asia while supporting product development initiatives, including crucial hardware and software certifications.

The investment reflects growing confidence in India's Industry 4.0 sector, with Leanworx targeting a substantial market opportunity. Leanworx estimates the domestic shop floor monitoring market encompasses over three lakh machines in metalworking and nine lakh machines in FMCG manufacturing, representing a potential annual revenue of Rs 3,000 crore. The global market, approximately 60 times larger, presents an even more substantial opportunity of Rs 1.8 lakh crore.

YourNest Venture Partner Venkat Raju emphasized the strategic value of the investment, citing Leanworx's plug-and-play IoT system as a key solution for manufacturing inefficiencies. Raju also discussed the company's early market traction and impressive sales pipeline.

The new funding couldn't have come at a better time because, right now, manufacturing digitalization is accelerating globally. With its enhanced focus on marketing and lead generation, Leanworx aims to capture a significant share of the rapidly expanding Industry 4.0 market.
