Guestara, an AI-enabled guest management platform for the hospitality industry, has secured $500,000 in pre-seed funding led by travel industry veteran Sanjay Ghare and a group of experienced hospitality tech entrepreneurs.

Founded by CEO Akshay Dekate and three co-founders, Guestara has developed a comprehensive platform that centralizes and automates key hospitality functions. The solution includes Unified Inbox, Contactless Mobile Check-In, Omnichannel Guest Engagement, Personalized Upselling, and Smart Checkout, all integrated with leading Property Management Systems.

Guestara had already demonstrated promising results during its beta phase when working with global hotels and other short-term rentals. During its beta phase, they collectively managed over 2,000 rooms. Early adopters of their technology lauded the startup as they reported significant improvements. At the conclusion of the beta phase, there was a 20% increase in operational efficiency, a 35% rise in guest satisfaction, and a 57% boost in incremental revenue.

"This funding will accelerate our mission to transform how hospitality professionals serve and engage their guests," said Dekate. Guestara plans to use the fresh capital infusion to develop advanced AI-driven solutions to streamline operations and uncover new revenue opportunities for hotels worldwide. The startup also plans to diversify across various hospitality segments, from boutique properties to multinational hotel chains.

Guestara's success in automating manual tasks and providing real-time insights has allowed hoteliers to focus more on building guest relationships.
