Enterprise AI governance platform Singulr AI has emerged from stealth mode, announcing a $10 million seed funding round led by Nexus Venture Partners and Dell Technologies Capital. The startup, founded by former Arkin Net executives, aims to help companies manage the growing security risks associated with widespread AI adoption.

The platform, which has already gained traction among technology, finance, and healthcare companies, integrates with existing enterprise infrastructure and comes with SOC 2 and ISO 27001 compliance certifications. This launch is crucial as businesses grapple with the challenges of managing AI deployment across their organizations.

"Through our extensive market research, we recognized that the broad use of generative AI technology is a complex problem needing an enterprise-grade solution to scale and secure," said Shiv Agarwal, CEO and co-founder of Singulr. Agarwal and co-founder Abhijit Sharma previously built Arkin Net, which VMware later acquired.

The platform offers CIOs and IT operations teams tools to streamline their AI service inventory and cut costs while enabling security teams to implement protective measures against data leakage and unauthorized AI use.

Managing Director at Nexus Venture Partners - Jishnu Bhattacharjee talked about the transformative impact of AI on business operations. He added that Singulr team is launching a new solution, which has been immensely tested and will enable businesses to efficiently and safely harness AI's potential.

Dell Technologies Capital Managing Director Raman Khanna emphasized the timing of Singulr's launch. "This is the year the enterprise moves from experimenting with AI to leveraging its potential for pivotal business challenges," he said, noting the team's experience in tackling enterprise-level problems at Arkin and VMware.

The funding will help Singulr expand its platform capabilities as companies increasingly seek solutions to secure and govern their AI implementations.
