According to the latest financial results filed with the NSE on Friday, the online travel platform EaseMyTrip saw revenue and profits decline in Q3 FY25.

The Delhi-based travel aggregator reported operating revenue of Rs 150 crore, down 6.3% from Rs 160 crore in the same quarter last year. Air ticketing remained the company's primary revenue driver, contributing 65%, while hotel packages accounted for 22%.

Meanwhile, total expenses increased 2.4% to Rs 107 crore from Rs 105 crore, with significant costs coming from service charges, payment gateway fees, employee benefits, and advertising.

The combination of lower revenue and higher expenses took a toll on the bottom line, with profits falling 25% to Rs 34 crore from Rs 45.6 crore in Q3 FY24.

The market responded to the results, with EaseMyTrip's stock closing at Rs 12, down 1.96% for the day. The company's market capitalization currently stands at Rs 4,252 crore.

The results reflect growing challenges in India's online travel sector, where players face increasing competition and pressure on margins despite the overall recovery in travel demand.
