AI Startup RapidClaims Secures $11 Million to Transform Healthcare Revenue Management
RapidClaims, which is an artificial intelligence-driven revenue cycle management platform, has raised $11 million. The investment will expand RapidClaims' innovative healthcare technology solutions. The investment includes an $8 million Series A round led by Accel, with Together Fund participation, and $3 million in previously undisclosed seed funding.
Together Fund spearheaded the seed round. It attracted investments from prominent healthcare leaders, including Oscar Benavidez from Massachusetts General Hospital, Matthew Zubiller, former CEO of e4health, Ankit Jain of Infinitus, and healthcare executive Sachin Jain.
RapidClaims plans to use the fresh capital to accelerate its go-to-market strategy and enhance its AI technology. This technology helps healthcare providers prevent claim denials early in the revenue cycle. The company reports that its solutions have reduced costs by 70% while streamlining reimbursement processes.
"We are live with more than 25 specialties and have achieved high autonomous accuracy in over 20 of those—a level of performance that's simply unheard of in the market," said Dushyant Mishra, CEO and Founder of RapidClaims.
The company currently serves diverse clients, including large Federally Qualified Health Centers, physician groups, and major health systems' outpatient and ambulatory surgery segments. While initially focused on the mid-revenue cycle, RapidClaims now aims to extend into claim adjudication and later revenue cycle stages to provide a comprehensive solution for maximizing provider revenue.
Since its launch, RapidClaims has experienced remarkable growth, expanding sixfold in just four months and building a double-digit client base.
Manasi Shah, Investor at Accel, highlighted the company's rapid scaling: "It's remarkable to see how quickly RapidClaims has scaled in a market as complex as healthcare, reducing implementation timelines from months to weeks. Our customer love is phenomenal, and we think it is just the beginning."
Founded by Dushyant Mishra, Abhinay Vyas, and Jot Singh, RapidClaims leverages advanced AI to enhance coding accuracy and prevent revenue leakage across healthcare organizations.
Shekhar Kirani, Partner at Accel, emphasized the significant market opportunity: "Revenue cycle inefficiencies cost the U.S. healthcare system over $250 billion annually, with claim denials forming a major share of that loss. RapidClaims has taken a truly differentiated approach to solving this problem in the mid-revenue cycle through its AI platform, which stands out for its deep customizability and rapid time-to-value."
