TrueFoundry, a platform specializing in AI deployment and scaling, has raised $19 million in Series A funding. Intel Capital led the round, and existing investors Eniac Ventures and Peak XV's Surge participated alongside new investor Jump Capital. Several notable angel investors, including Gokul Rajaram, Mohit Aron, Cyan Banister, and executives from Fortune 1000 companies, also joined the round.

The Bengaluru and San Francisco-based startup, which previously raised $2.3 million in a seed round led by Peak XV's Surge in September 2022, will see Intel Capital's investment director Avi Bharadwaj join its board of directors.

According to Nikunj Bajaj, CEO and co-founder of TrueFoundry, "Enterprises using TrueFoundry have built and launched their internal AI platforms in as little as two months, achieving ROI within four months—a stark contrast to the industry average of 14 months."

The company plans to use the fresh capital to advance its mission of creating a universal platform for building and deploying AI applications without infrastructure challenges. The funding will also support team expansion and enhancement of go-to-market strategies to drive customer acquisition and business growth.

TrueFoundry's platform is designed to simplify machine learning training and deployment, which aids enterprises in managing AI applications efficiently. The platform integrates with multiple clouds, models, and frameworks, preventing vendor lock-in and ensuring deployments are prepared for emerging AI trends such as RAGs and Agents.

The funding follows a year of significant growth for TrueFoundry, which saw a 4X year-over-year increase in customers and the deployment of more than 1,000 ML clusters. The company has established partnerships with major global organizations, including Siemens Healthineers, ResMed, Automation Anywhere, and NVIDIA, while also collaborating with prominent companies such as Games 24x7 and Whatfix to improve ML scalability and maximize infrastructure efficiency.
